EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR RECRUITMENT OF PARTNERS

Peacebuilding Project Implementation Through Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation, Liberia

  • Background: Kvinna till Kvinna is a Swedish Women’s Rights Organisation operating in Liberia since 2010. We are inviting qualified Women’s Rights Organisations (WROs) to partner on Strengthen Her Voice: Empowering Women’s Voice and Agency to Enhance Gender-Responsive Access to Justice, Inclusive Peace, and Security (GPI 2.0), a peacebuilding initiative promoting social cohesion, transitional justice, and women’s equitable access to justice.

 

  • Project Outcome: More inclusive national peacebuilding processes with increased gender-responsive decision-making, strengthened community conflict prevention, and enhanced social cohesion.

 

  • Scope of Partnership: Partners will implement community peacebuilding initiatives, facilitate dialogue and mediation, strengthen women’s and youth leadership, advance advocacy and awareness campaigns, and support community early warning systems. A key priority will be delivering targeted capacity-building programs that equip CSOs working in peacebuilding, transitional justice, and community development with the skills, knowledge, and systems needed to enhance organizational performance, resource mobilization, and accountability. These investments will strengthen institutional resilience, promote financial sustainability, support evidence-based programming, and ensure compliance with donor requirements.

 

4.0 Eligibility Criteria

  • Legally registered and operating in Liberia.
  • Demonstrated and sustained presence, operational capacity, and strong community relationships in the target locations of Montserrado, Grand Cape Mount, Nimba, Lofa, and Grand Gedeh Counties.
  • Minimum three (3) years of demonstrated experience in delivering capacity-building, organizational development, and institutional strengthening support to women’s rights organizations, civil society organizations (CSOs), networks, human rights defenders, and community-based organizations. Proven experience in enhancing technical, organizational, governance, and financial sustainability capacities of civil society and community-level actors is a key eligibility requirement.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working on advancing gender equality with a focus on women peace and security. Specific areas of experience will include but will not be limited to transitional justice, peacebuilding, and governance related programs.
  • Must have existing gender, inclusion & safeguarding systems, and commitment to safeguarding, gender equality, and inclusion.
  • Must have qualified staff with relevant experience in women peace and security with a focus on peacebuilding, transitional justice, community development, and institutional capacity building.
  • Sound financial management and accountability systems.

6.0 Required Documents: A Letter of Expression of Interest (max 1 page); organizational profile (max half page); Legal registration certificate; one-page organogram of Governance structure; CVs of Key staff; Relevant project experience (last 3 years); Report of audit findings statements, if available; safeguarding & anti-fraud policies; two References from current or previous funders.
