Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organization that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. We support children’s rights from birth through adulthood and enable children to prepare for and respond to crises and adversity. Using our reach, experience, and knowledge, we drive changes in practice and policy at local, national, and global levels.
We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 75 years and are active in more than 70 countries.
In Liberia, Plan International implements directly, a child sponsorship programme in Nimba, Lofa and Bomi counties, respectively, aimed at improving the wellbeing, protection, and development outcomes of vulnerable children and their communities. A core component of the Child sponsorship programme is ethical, accurate, timely, and child safe communication between sponsored children and their sponsors, in line with Plan International Liberia’s (PIL) safeguarding policies and data protection requirements. To align with Plan International’s global sponsorship optimization strategy, PIL is planning a partnership operational model of conducting sponsorship communications activities (component) through Partner(s) in order to ensure that the programme becomes effective, and sustainable. Consequently, to support this strategic shift, PIL seeks to engage Qualified and competent Child Sponsorship Communication partner(s) to manage and support sponsorship-related communications and materials.
