Recruitment of a Civil Society Organization to Coordinate a Citizen Engagement, Media and Documentation Platform (GPI 2.0 – Strengthen Her Voice Project)

  1. Background

The Strengthen Her Voice: Empowering Women’s Voice and Agency to Enhance Gender-Responsive Access to Justice, Inclusive Peace, and Security (GPI 2.0) project is a three-year initiative implemented by Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation Liberia in partnership with UN Women, OHCHR, and the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MGCSP). The project aims to strengthen women’s participation, leadership, and influence in women’s rights, governance, peacebuilding, accountability, and transitional justice processes, including engagement around the War and Economic Crimes Court (WECC) and Liberia’s broader reconciliation and development agenda.

As part of this effort, Kvinna till Kvinna supports Women’s Rights Organizations (WROs) and Peace Huts in Grand Cape Mount, Montserrado, Nimba, Lofa, and Grand Gedeh Counties. To amplify women’s voices, strengthen public engagement, promote informed dialogue, and document learning and impact, Kvinna till Kvinna invites proposals from qualified Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to coordinate a Citizen Engagement, Media and Documentation Platform.

  1. Purpose

The Citizen Engagement, Media and Documentation Platform will serve as a strategic communications, learning, and citizen engagement mechanism that strengthens public understanding of transitional justice, elevates women’s voices, and supports collective advocacy and accountability processes aligned to Kvinna till Kvinna’s work with 15 WROs.

  • Enhanced communication, media engagement, and advocacy capacities among Women’s Rights Organizations and Peace Huts.
  • Stronger citizen engagement and collaboration among communities, media institutions, civil society actors, and decisionmakers.

Applicants are encouraged to propose innovative and context-appropriate approaches that combine strategic communications, media engagement, research and analysis, documentation, capacity strengthening, learning, and collective advocacy.
